This one is the last Flash Match of the year (unless you’ve been holding out on us), so make it count!
Thanks to generous gifts of $10,000 from Bob Leavitt (perennial match funder and M4K supporter) every single donation Tuesday, May 25, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm will be partially matched based on how many total dollars are raised during the three hours (see details below). If you understand the concept of pro rata, you will catch on quickly. Additionally, we have $1,800 courtesy of our Checkpoint hosts - so, we’re going to make it more complicated.
Here are the rules -
PRO RATA MATCH - $10,000
- From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm (4:00:00 pm - 6:59:59 pm to be precise) today, any online donation will be partially matched based on each Grower's pro rata share of the total funds raised during the matching window.Examples: If M4K raises $10,000 during the window, every donation gets a dollar-for-dollar match. If M4K raises $20,000 during the window, every donation will get a match of 50 cents on the dollar (in other words, a $50 donation will get a $25 match). It will end up being some wonky percentage, but the important thing is you are guaranteed to get part of this $10,000 matching pool.
- There is no maximum per Grower.
- Every online donation will get at least some match.
- Online donations only.
- Corporate matches will not count (but you will still get them towards your total).
RIDE LIKE THE WIND MATCH - $1,800
- The top fundraisers during the first 5 minutes of each hour (4:00:00pm - 4:04:59pm; 5:00:00pm - 5:04:59pm; 6:00:00 - 6:04:59pm), will receive a $600 bonus match.
